Privacy policy
1. What we collect
Lönekoll does not collect, store or share any personal information. No account is required. Everything you enter in the app — salaries, municipality, occupation, negotiations, settings — is stored locally on your device and is never sent to us.
2. iCloud sync (iOS)
On iPhone and Apple Watch, the app can keep your data in sync between your own devices using Apple's iCloud key-value storage. That data lives in your personal iCloud account under Apple's terms and privacy policy. We have no access to it. Turning off iCloud for Lönekoll in iOS Settings stops the sync.
3. Tax rules and salary statistics
Tax rules, inflation data and occupation statistics are bundled with the app and also updated from our server (Supabase, hosted in the EU) when new years or figures are published. The request carries no personal data, only which file is fetched.
4. Exchange rates
To show amounts in another currency, the app fetches current exchange rates from the Frankfurter API (frankfurter.app). The request contains only the currencies to convert — no salary figures, no identifiers and no personal data.
5. In-app purchases
Premium is a one-time purchase handled entirely by Apple's App Store on iOS and by Google Play on Android. We never see your payment details. Apple's and Google's privacy policies apply to the transaction.
6. Third-party services
Lönekoll contains no analytics, advertising or tracking libraries.
7. Children
The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
8. Deleting your data
Because your data only exists on your device (and, if enabled, in your own iCloud), deleting the app removes it. iCloud data can also be removed under iCloud settings on your device.
9. Changes
If this policy changes, the date above is updated. Significant changes are communicated through an app update.

Data sources
Tax rules are based on public information from the tax authorities of each country: Skatteverket and SKR (Sweden), Skatteministeriet (Denmark), HMRC (United Kingdom) and Bundesministerium der Finanzen (Germany). Salary statistics come from Statistics Sweden (SCB), Statistics Denmark, the Office for National Statistics (UK) and Destatis (Germany). Lönekoll is not affiliated with, endorsed by or otherwise connected to any of these bodies.
